2021深圳光影艺术季福田展区主题委约创作

Thematic New Commission Artworks for Glow Shenzhen – Futian, 2021

该作品是依据一种诗歌式的跳跃意象展开的。当我们凝视时间，初升的太阳由婴儿皮肤般的粉红渐变成金黄的落日余晖，云层被晕染，正午的白色光线一定程度划开了视野。那就再聚焦一些，聚焦在涟漪折射出太阳的轨迹，也透视出水底鱼群的瞳孔，视觉开始变得灵动，在波光粼粼中历史也跟着变得轻飘飘的，脊椎动物就这样慢慢演化成人，当然也附带着演化出阴影，我们试着学会接纳黑夜继而给它区分出图层，有时也在虫鸣中加速开采和默默建造都市。这个进程中有窃窃私语，偶尔血肉模糊。甚至我们开始在计算机中学会了变幻自己的身体，所以现实真的所见即所得吗？我们接下来又将变成什么形态？影片一直保持着一种专注呼吸的态势，间隔中也没有显露出标准答案，它只是在不经意间用声音和画面搭建出一个个连接梦境和现实、过去和未来的舞台。然后我们试着告别语言，在丛林里漫步、在高楼的镜面反射中跳舞，一切都有条不紊，万物在流动中的命名就来源于此……

 

The work unfolds itself in a dynamic, poetic way. When staring at time, we see the sun rising with baby-cheek pink and then setting with golden glows. The clouds are polished with changing colors, and the mid-day white beams widen the horizon. If we focus our eyes on the trajectory of the sun reflected on the wavy water, we see the pupils of the fish swimming under the water. Etherealized as our vision becomes, history also starts to buoyant. Vertebrates evolve into homo sapien, followed by the shadows. We learn to embrace dark nights and distinguish between different shades of darkness. From time to time, we accelerate the exploitation and build our cities with bugs chirping in the background. There are whispers, and there are blood and deaths alongside that journey. We even start to virtualize our bodies in the world of computers. Are what we see all real? What would humans become in the future? The video keeps a rhythm of breaths, revealing no standard answers during intervals. It only sets stages, one after another, that connect dreams, present, past and future through sound and images. At the end of the journey, languages are given up. We walk in the forests and dance in the reflection of highrises’ facades. All things follow their preset orders. All things obtain their identities accordingly, in the flow of time…

唐潮

唐潮，1990年生于湖南，2014年毕业于中国美术学院实验影像工作室，现工作生活于上海。唐潮的工作本质，像是在实践写作中一种深思之轻的建议，比如把剧本提炼成一句话：“身处现代岛屿的困境，一个自我放逐的乐园。”到最近：“几种心旷神怡的点状覆盖一连串孱弱的呼声。” 你可以集中在这句话的语气、节奏，换成摄像机的话，就是聚焦在晃动、光线还有景别。他总是试图在每段平铺直叙的空白处释放一些言外之意。

 

About Tang Chao

Tang Chao (b.1990, Hunan, China) currently lives and works in Shanghai. He graduated from the School of Inter-Media Art at the Academy of Fine Arts. The essence of Tang Chao’s work is like suggestions on lightness in literature. For instance, he refines a whole script into one sentence such as “The dilemma of being in a modern island, a paradise of self-exile.” And recently: “Several delightful dots covered of a series of weak voices.” When you focus on the tone and rhythm of the sentence, and express it through a camera, you then get the shaking focus, light and the scenes. He always tries to release some illocutionary meaning in every blank space with a straightforward manner.

 

吴艳丹

吴艳丹NUNU KONG，独立制作人，多元编舞及表演艺术家，毕业于北京舞蹈学院现代舞编导及表演专业。KONG的作品彰显着在诗幻的维度里对心理时空的独特表达，一种温暖和幽默被本能地融入她的编舞中，然而观众却能从中嗅到她倔强且冒险的气质。

 

About NUNU KONG

NUNU KONG is an independent producer, choreographer and performing artist. Kong’s work highlights an unique expression of psychological time and space in a poetic illusionary dimension. With a sense of humor subtly blended into her choreography, the audience can always smell her temperament of risk-taking from the stage.

 

刘毅

刘毅, 既是一位独立艺术家，同时也是一名公共艺术领域的教育者、实践者。他通过绘画、雕塑、装置、影像、表演等不同形式的创作来探索身体与空间、精神与物质、个体与公众、文化的在地性与抽离感等议题和关系。同时他对数字媒介、物性材料与创作主题之间的叙事关系发生兴趣，涌现了大量以日常生活和社会现场为语境的平面或空间艺术作品。

 

About Liu Yi

Liu Yi is not only an artist, but also an educator and practitioner in the field of public art. His practice explores the relationships between body and space, spirits and materials, individual and public, presence and absence of culture. Meanwhile, Liu Yi has also taken his interest in creating narratives lying between digital media, materiality and subject. Thus, his artistic practice has taken place in both graphic and spatial ways based on daily life and social scenery.

 

陆正

陆正，电子音乐家、声音艺术家、We Play! Records及Neo Sound(离骚)新艺术团体和艺术活动创办人，中国和波兰跨国音乐交流项目”ChoP”发起人，N2新媒体艺术小组成员，生活、工作于深圳。2007年初主持创立深圳独立音乐厂牌We Play! Records, 组织策划演出，与来自世界各地的艺术家演出和交流。陆正也为戏剧及电影创作音乐，他的数字声音和音乐倾向于绵密、细致和简约的风格。

 

About Zen Lu

Zen Lu, experimental/electronic musician, sound artist, founder of We Play! Records and Neo Sound new art group and events curator. He’s one of the founders of ChoP, a musical project between China and Poland. Zen Lu is also a member of N2 New Media Art Lab, working and residing in Shenzhen, PRC. Early 2007, Zen Lu founded Shenzhen independent label ‘We Play! Records’ and organizing events with artists from all over the world as well as. Apart from these, he composing music for dramas and movies. Zen Lu’s minute, meticulous and minimalist digital music style as well as events organized by him and his label has played a major role in bringing a new wave of art activities to Shenzhen, for which the latter has been long considered a cultural desert.
