“星叶人”直接出自于本届光影季福田展区的主题委约创作——“在自然与后自然之间的我们”，是在这部影像作品中亮相的“人物造型”之一。该影像由四位艺术家联合创作，刘毅在其中恰好担任“造型创意”一职，将这些虚构的人物，一一带入现实。这其中的“星叶人”，是在对宏大时空跨度的结构与浪漫、微观的日常生活的“并质”之下，所构想出的，是宇宙星空与地球自然植物的合一。TA无疑是超现实的，但却又如此具有现实感：是自由的生命给予我们的，对所处世界的爱，以及对宇宙自然的敬畏之心……

“Star Leaf Man” is directly derived from the Thematic New Commission Artworks for Glow Shenzhen – Futian, 2021 – Us, amid Nature and After Nature, which is one of the character models that appeared in this moving image artwork. The video was created jointly by four artists, and Liu Yi take up the position of “styling creativity”, bringing these fictional characters into reality one by one. Among them, Star Leaf Man is a parallel between the grand structure spanning time-space and the romantic, microscopic, daily real life. It is the unity of the cosmic starry sky and the earth’s natural plants. It is undoubtedly surreal, but realistic. It is the love that free life gives to the world we live in and the awe of the universe and nature.
