耐火板材料的色彩和加工方式与波普艺术的风格相吻合,美式流行文化的导入,和当代新材料的设计与使用,更让我对利希滕斯坦的作品有复制并新材料再创作的欲望.我们用HPL材料层层切割并相叠的方式代替了原作的丝网印刷。
Renowned Pope Artist Lichtenstein had said “Pope Art can be developed by putting the commercial art theme into the drawing.”
The Formica^® HPL colors and processing methods just match the style of pope art. The input of American popular culture and the design and use of new materials evoked my desire to copy and recreate Lichtenstein’s works with new materials. We used the way in which the Formica^® HPL material cuts and folds by layer to replace the original silk-screen printing.
