介绍：

上海作为中国最大的多功能经济中心, 城市发展到今天仍然是百年近代城市系统的延伸与规模扩张。在19世纪, 英国商人向中国倾销商品和对中国原料收购的同时也带来了他们最为本土的文化和技术。在20世纪中、后期，上海对英国商人带来的文化和技术进行了中国式的融合和改造。直到今天, 仍然在上海的很多个角落, 都能寻觅到丰富的中英相互融合的文化痕迹。这是一个城市成长的历史足迹, 更是各种文化相互交融影响的佐证。在上海-伦敦城市广场项目中通过“晒”的主题演绎来呈现上个世纪发生于中英两国间贸易、文化关系的历史现实。

As the largest multi-functional economic center in China, today the development of Shanghai is still extend and expand in a modern urban system after last one hundred years. In the 19th century, British businessman dumping goods and purchase material acquisition from China at the same time; meanwhile they brought their indigenous culture and technologies. Late in the 20th century, Shanghai had accepted these cultures and technologies from British businessman integration and transformation into Chinese style. Until now, look at the many corners in Shanghai, you still can find the rich  and integration culture marks. This is a history of urban growth, but also the influence of all kinds of culture blend. The City-Square exchange project through a theme of “Shine” to interpret the history and reality which had happened in the Chinese and British trade during the last century.
